Architelos Clients
“Architelos provided the American Heart Association with a valuable strategic perspective when we applied for a gTLD. They took the time to understand our organization’s objectives and educate us. They guided us through the challenging application process and helped us to surface various ways for maximizing a new TLD for the benefit of our internal and external partners. It was more than just application support; it was a broader strategic engagement that was immensely advantageous.”

“Alexa has been systematically tackling the biggest and scariest issues in the domain name industry head-on with tremendous success. Her strong intellectual rigor and committed out-of-the-box thinking enables her to analyze and strategize rationally where others flounder.”
Vinton Cerf, Vice President and Chief Internet Evangelist. Google
“In addition to running PIR well (a distinct benefit to all Internauts), Alexa also took the initiative to endorse and pursue the implementation of the DNSSEC effort to increase the security and integrity of the Domain Name System in general. This high regard, not only for the .org top level domain, but for all domain name service levels, is commendable and very much in the collaborative, historical spirit of the Internet. Alexa has performed well on all fronts.”
Vinton Cerf, Vice President and Chief Internet Evangelist. Google
“I was very fortunate to have Alexa as we launched the dotmobi TLD. She is one of the best BD people with which I have worked. She has the ability to see opportunities when others don’t and is a tireless worker. She was a great add to the dotmobi team and was one of the reasons dotmobi was the most successful new mtlds ever launched. In addition to her BD skills she is just a great person. Any organization would be fortunate to have her on the team.”
Jerry Easom, Chairman of the Board. dotMobi, mTLD
“I came to know Alexa when I was a Board member at ICANN, and I kept in touch with her after my term on the Board expired in October, 2009. I was about to write that two admirable qualities exhibited by Alexa stood out, but then others leapt to mind as well. So, here is my list of assets that Alexa would bring to any engagement, particularly as a CEO or as a COO in a larger corporation than PIR with a clearly planned advancement path to the CEO’s chair.
First and foremost, integrity and high ethical standards, a quality that is all too rare in today’s highly competitive and ruthless business world.
Second is financial management: attention to performance metrics, budgetary discipline, and bottom line achievement–she has presided over remarkable growth in PIR’s “numbers” while keeping well within budget. In short, Alexa produces.
Next, management of staff, showing compassion and adapting working conditions for individuals with personal issues (case in point: a former executive assistant who was stricken with cancer and eventually passed), yet showing the door to non-performers before they could become a drag on the company’s success. From what I could see, her staff is extremely loyal to her and willing to go the extra mile to help her achieve success. So, when I write that Alexa produces, the corollary is that she motivates her staff to achieve the corporation’s successes.
Add to all these remarkable qualities, industry leadership: she led in the organization of an industry group, including competitors, to bolster the security of the Internet’s Domain Name System (DNS). In order to do this, she had to delve into the technical details of the DNS. She is a quick study. I noted on several occasions how technically informed and adept she was, while at the same time keeping up with notable business happenings in her industry. Under her leadership, PIR was [among the?] first Internet registry to implement the new security protection dubbed DNSSEC.
With all this, she manages to network effectively with her peers in the industry, including maintaining cordial relations with and garnering respect from ICANN leadership, both Board and senior staff.
Having noted all this, I state unequivocally that I would be honored and privileged to work with Alexa in any professional capacity: as a director of any company that she were to head, as her employee or consultant, or as her manager.”
Steve Goldstein, Member of the Board. ICANN, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers
